End of Line Flame Arrester for Endurance Burning

The end of line flame arrester approved for endurance burning

(EN 12874/ISO 16852) prevents a light-back at deflagration and stabilized burning (during and after endurance burning) of potentially explosive vapor-air and/or gas-air mixtures at the end of vent pipes.

Endurance burning end of line flame arresters for alcohol (ethanol, methanol ...) or alcohol/petrol mixture have to have a special approval (see EN 12874 Point 12.d).

So petrol stations offering E85 petrol blends (Ethanol/Petrol mixture with up to 90% ethanol = ethyl alcohol) have to be protected against flame propagation from outside with a end of line flame arrester special approved for this application.

For this purpose we are offering a end of line flame arrester approved for endurance burning of E85 (E90)

(see below 1018-0085-10).

Please, contact us if you need flame arresters for storage or transport of alcohol, e. g. Bio alcohol or alcohol petrol blends (e.g. E85 see below) like HBEF, superethanol and ethanol diesel blends like E-Diesel, Diesohol, Oxy-diesel, Etamax D.
